JAMES, MARY ORMISTON Age 84, a resident of Albuquerque for 48 years, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 in her sleep at the Manzano Del Sol. She was born to Glen and Jaunita Ormiston, on September 27, 1928 in Barlow, Ohio. She graduated with Honors from Lorain Ohio high school in 1946. She received her RN degree at Saint Luke's Hospital in Cleveland Ohio in 1949. She married her loving husband Charles G James in 1950. Mary worked as an RN in Columbus, Ohio while her husband attended Ohio State U. While she was a loving mother raising three children, the family moved to Albuquerque in 1965. She resumed working as a RN at Job Core, Memorial, and Lovelace hospitals until she retired. She belonged to the Central United Methodist Church, enjoyed square dancing, playing tennis, and liked Panda Bears. She is survived by her sister Lois Wingate; brother Roger Ormiston; sons Charles and Glen James; daughter Jennifer Bloch; grandchildren Hunter, Leighton, Everett Bloch, Megan, and Katelyn James. She was a loving grandmother and celebrated all of their accomplishments. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008. Memorial service will be at the main chapel at Manzano Del Sol on Friday, February 15, at 2:00pm.
