TAFOYA, SYLVESTER C. Age 73, went home to be with the lord on February 4, 2013. He was born on May 21, 1939 in Sabinal. Mr. Tafoya is survived by his wife Carol Tafoya. He is survived by his son Andrew Tafoya; wife Frances; daughters Lisa Williams and husband Roger; Julie Burk and husband Phillip; and grandchildren. He retired from Sandia National Labs after 30 years. He was a loving husband, amazing father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. In his free time he loved spending time with family & friends golfing, fishing, Lobo Football games and loved betting on the ponies. Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. and mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee.
