 STRIMBU, LIVIA Age 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1987, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Adina Pantea; son, George Allen Strimbu; grandson, John Nicholas Pantea; and granddaughter Alina Stephanie Strimbu all of Albuquerque; and sister, Maria Borzea and husband, Gheorghe of Romania. Mrs. Strimbu was preceded in death by her husband, George Strimbu. Livia owned and operated the Hiway House Motel in Nob Hill. A wake service will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at French -University. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints of North America Orthodox Church, 10440 4th St NW. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Strimbu, John Pantea, Radu Pantea, John Benta, Alexandru Bejenariu, and Ilie Spilca.
