RAINES, GWEN age 91, born June 25, 1921, passed away January 28, 2013 in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Raines and daughter, Kathleen Sue Raines. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Price and her husband Preston Price of Elizabeth CO; her four grandchildren Edith and Eva Price, Brandon Hensley and his wife Nova Hensley, Kristeena Hensley Romero; and her 4 great-grandchildren Emily Werblow, Kayla Romero, Christian and Ara Hensley. A resident of Albuquerque from 1951 to 2003, Gwen attended First Baptist Church, Fruit Avenue Baptist Church and Eastern Hills Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school for 60 years, and sang in the choir for 70 years. She was a kind, wonderful, loving friend, mother and grandmother with the voice of an angel. She will be greatly missed. Her ashes will be interred during a private graveside service at a future date.
