 BEAN, DOROTHY ALICE Age 88, passed away January 30, 2013. Dorothy was born on November 4, 1924 in Birmingham, Alabama to Walter Newhall and Sara Maskery Johnson. She was married for 30 years to the love of her life George Edward Bean, who preceded her in death in 1975. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Hamilton and Robert Bruce Johnson both formerly of Birmingham, Alabama. Surviving Dorothy are her daughters, Sara Katherine and husband Rodger Romans of Palmdale, CA, and Margaret Anne and husband Col Terance L. Jahnke (USAF Ret). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dorothy Jennifer Romans of Palmdale, CA, Daniel David Carrington and wife Heather of Albuquerque, NM, Brian Duncan Carrington and wife Lindsey, and great- granddaughter Chloe Adea of San Diego, CA. At her request, Dorothy was cremated and private family services are planned at a later date.
