 BACA, VELINDA S. (LINDA) Today we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend. Linda was relieved of her pain January 27, 2013 after a valiant and dignified battle with lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her son Gregory. Surviving are her husband of 45 years James; son, Kevin and wife Emily; daughter, Ashley; three grandchildren, who were the center of her life, Logan, Aidin, and Camden; her mother, Viola Singletary; brothers, Chuck Stanford, Walter Singletary, and sister, Linda Patterson. A celebration of her abundant life will be held at a later date with details to follow. I wish to thank all of our family, friends, and acquaintances for your kind thoughts and prayers during her protracted battle.
