Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday February 03, 2013

ANGEL, JOSE ALFREDO "ANGEL" Age 16, beloved son, brother, and friend, was embraced by the Lord and taken to his heavenly home, Wednesday, January 30, 2013. He was born in Boynton Beach, FL and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM, where he attended Bernalillo High School and was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Jose is survived by his loving mother, Hilda Bustamante Angel and stepfather, Rogelio Rios; his biological father, Jose Alfredo Angel; his loving brother and sisters, Andres Antonio Angel, Cheylha Yaneli Rios, Chentyl Jicel Rios and Anahi Angel; and Angel's best friends, Christian, Jorge, Jose, Jesus and many more great friends. My son was my angel he was my "Sun". I have always told my four kids, I have Sun that shines for me everyday, a "Moon" (Andres) that gives me sweet dreams and my two stars that shine for me each night. Angel was and will always be my #1. He was always very lovable, very happy. He loved to make us all laugh and make funny faces. He was super funny. Angel always hugged his sisters and teased his brother, when Angel would read them stories he would make his own words up so that the girls would laugh. But best of all he love to skateboard he was the "Skater Dude". he loved music and believe it or not he also like Bon Jovi, Cindy Lauper and some country songs; his favorite was rock and heavy metal. Angel swore he would some day become a PRO-SKATER, that someone would see him and that he would be sponsored. He truly believed this in his heart. Well I believe that God is now Angel's sponsor and that he is now doing his best tricks in heaven. So my son is now a "PRO-SKATER DUDE". Angel loved his home in Bernalillo, where he spent most of his life and where he wanted to stay. He loved his family and friends. Angel will forever be in our hearts. Visitation will be held today (Sunday) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW, Albuquerque, NM.
