 FLORES, RENA G. "NENA" Age 83, of Albuquerque, NM, went to be with our Lord on January 12, 2013. Rena was born in Albuquerque, NM on August 7, 1929. She attended numerous schools and later worked for the Corps of Engineers for 39 years. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, and the company of her family. Anyone who knew Rena would agree that she was a strong, dedicated woman and will be greatly missed. Rena had a large family including her son Reginald Flores; grandchildren, Renee, Daniel, Rachel, Vanessa, Matea Flores; many great-grandchildren; brother, Manuel Garcia; sisters, Toni Ewing, Tommie Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Rena was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Guadalupe Garcia; sister, Pauline Salcido; brother, Delfino Garcia. A Rosary service will be recited at 6:30pm Monday January 21, 2013 at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:00am Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 1860 Griegos Rd NW, Albuq, 87107. Interment is to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
