 JACKSON, DANE MICHAEL Age 29, passed away unexpectedly to his heavenly home on January 14, 2013. Dane was born in Albuquerque, NM, on July 16, 1983 as the oldest son of Sandy and Catherine Jackson. He is survived by his loving parents and brother Brian Jackson of Albuquerque; paternal grandparents Jerry and Annette Jackson and uncle Clay Jackson of Peralta, NM; uncle Morgan and aunt Mari Jackson, and cousins Shannon (Pat) Baldwin, AJ (Katrina) Jackson, and Aquilla Lohr all of Albuquerque; cousin Merrily (David) Fillmore of Tacoma, WA; aunt Cindy Jackson, and cousins Hiram and Evan Lohr of California; special family Ted and Virginia Beckloff of Kansas; and many friends. Dane was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ted and Leola Ellis and his fiancee, Cindy Beato. Dane had a happy childhood, attending Chaparral and Hope Christian Schools. He enjoyed playing baseball and soccer in Taylor Ranch and later with the premier Rio Grande Rangers where he was a strong defender and traveled out of state for numerous tournaments. He attended La Cueva High School where he played soccer and wrestled. After graduating in 2001, he attended TVI. Dane became a skilled machinist and was currently employed by Pro Fab as their lead CNC programmer/machinist. Dane loved to travel and especially loved the mountains and the ocean. He also enjoyed snowboarding, car mechanics, rock climbing, MMA, wolf dogs, and fast cars. Dane loved the Lord and had a soft heart, particularly toward those who were hurting and in need of love and comfort. Dane was known as someone you could call at any time for any reason and you could always depend on him to help. He was a beloved son who will be deeply missed by his parents, brother, family, and friends. But we also rejoice in the assurance that he is enjoying his new life in the presence of his Lord and we will be with him again one day. A Memorial Service celebrating Dane's life will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE, with Pastor Bob Brown of Christ Community Fellowship officiating.
