Johnson III and wife, Kathy, Virginia LaCharite and husband, Raymond, Vernon Pleasant and wife, Sally; and many friends from the First Baptist Church of Albuquerque where he was a member for nearly 66 years. He was in the real estate and tire businesses until going to work for Sandia Corporation in 1951, retiring in 1981 after which again he sold real estate. He enjoyed being active in church where he taught children in Training Union, and devoted his life to the care of his special needs son, John until his death in 2009. A persistent and daily prayer warrior, he was the most thankful of men for his many blessings from God, especially the sweet everyday occurrences so many are prone to overlook. He loved his family devotedly and his Lord devoutly. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
