BESSON, PAULINE GOLDIE Age 93, a resident of Albuquerque for over 70 years, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. She was born on February 26, 1919 to Ollie and Dora Kindred near Blanchard, Oklahoma. She was married to George Besson for 57 years, who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Onetia Stacy and Dorothy Johnson; and two brothers, Jack Kindred and Floyd Kindred. She is survived by her four children, Gordon Besson (wife Betty), Kenneth Besson (Vanessa Mercer), Melba Baum, and Tom Besson, (wife Sara Nurnberg); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Joe Kindred and Bronelle (Pete) Kindred; and two sisters, Faye Cleal and Louise Beeson. Pauline was a long time member of Fruit Ave. Baptist Church and Victory Extension Club. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and an expert seamstress. She enjoyed making friends during the time she spent as an "Avon Lady". The family would like to express their deepest and most heartfelt appreciation to the owners and staff of the Garland House and Dr. Suzanne Pinon, who cared for her the past 6 years. Friends may visit FRENCH - University on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will take place immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
