MATHES, NORMAN E. SR. (NORM) age 71, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, 12/29/2012 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by both parents; two of his younger brothers, Roger and Donald Mathes. He is survived by his son, Norman E. Mathes, Jr. (Skeeter) and wife Tiffaney; daughter, Irene Mathes; sister, Loretta Farah and husband Donald; brothers, Gerald and Lloyd Mathes; five grandchildren, Chazz and Zack Mathes, Richard Mathes, Ronn Jensen and Randy Manus; two great-grandchildren, Richard and Destiny Baca; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Norm enjoyed big game hunting which he missed very much. He was the original owner of Electronic Surplus and Bluejeans Lounge on East Central. A Celebration of Life will be held at The American Legion Post 49, 11007 Central NE on Saturday, 1/12/13 at 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
