 DUFF, JACQUELIN "JACKIE" BROE Our beautiful wife and mother peacefully passed away on Dec. 29, 2012 at the age of 90 in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on June 29, 1922 to Frank and Helen Broe of St. Louis, Missouri. Jackie grew up in St. Louis where, at the age of 20, she met a nice, young man who asked her out dancing on a riverboat stationed on the Mississippi River. From this day sprung an inspiring love story as the two married on April 15, 1944 and remained together happily ever after. Jackie and her husband worked and raised their family across the United States and Europe. At different points in her life Jackie worked as a Secretary to the County Commissioners in Maryland, the U.S. Arms Control Mission in Geneva and later in life she volunteered as a docent for the Albuquerque Museum. She was an avid reader and a passionate participant in the various Catholic communities where she lived. Once settled in Albuquerque, Jackie and Bob became two of the founding members of the Prince of Peace Parish. Jackie was sadly preceded in death by her brother Varley and her two beautiful grandchildren Elizabeth Ladino and Ryan Duff. She is survived by her devoted husband Robert Duff, Col. USAF (ret.) and their four children: The Reverend Michele (Duff) Rahhal, her husband Bill and their children - Robert Rahhal, Michael Rahhal and his wife KC Perry, Chris Rahhal and his wife Stacy Hill-Rahhal and their children Christian and Aliyah; Melissa (Duff) Zink, her husband Tom and their children - Geoff Shelton and Stacey Shelton-Zink; Robyn (Duff) Ladino, her husband Tony and their children - Marie Ladino, Joseph Ladino and Rebecca Ladino; Dennis Duff, his wife Linda and their children - Michael Duff, Lauren (Duff) Dodington, her husband Jim and their daughter Elsa. Jackie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. The love she showered upon her family and friends will continue to brighten their lives and her spirit will live on through them. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm, followed by a rosary at 7:00pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel Avenue Northeast Albuquerque, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 9:00am, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A graveside service will follow at 3:00pm at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos, NM.
