SERAFIN, KATHERINE "KATHY" 1949-2012 Age 63, went to heaven escorted by her guardian angels on Saturday, December 22, 2012. She enjoyed sports, music, reading and sharing a "Long Island Ice Tea" with her friend Rose F. A very strong woman has left us with hopes of being with her again. She was seen as a living angel who suffered for many long years with Multiple Sclerosis without complaining. Kathy was beautiful inside and out and loved everyone. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Dennis; her two sons, Jason and Nick who were her pride and joy and you didn't mess with "Mommy's Boys"; sisters, Glenda, Gloria and Rachel; and brother, Del. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Friday, January 4, beginning with a visitation at 12:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
