MADRID, LEROY A. "SPOT" JR. of Albuquerque, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 24, 2012. He was born on May 15, 1952 in Leadville, Colorado to the late Leroy A. and Senida Madrid. He is survived by his wife Stella. His sons Richard Madrid and wife Beverly and Jose Madrid. Three grandchildren Esperanza, Cecilia and Emanuel. Several great-grandchildren and godchildren Mable, Stephanie, Daniel and Jasmine. Several stepchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews family and friends. Two brothers Louie Madrid and wife Della and Rudy Madrid. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gene Madrid. Mr. Madrid was a veteran serving our country in the Marine Corps, United States Army and the National Guard. His memberships included the American Legion Post 13, the VFW and the DAV. He was worked the mines in Grants for many years, he loved fishing, hunting, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30am Wednesday November 28, 2012 at the Family Worship Center, 7311 Glenrio, NW. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 10:30am at the church. Pallbearers are Robert Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez, Teddy Madrid, Matthew Moreno, Chris Garcia Sr. and Cisco Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Garcia Jr. Daniel Chavez, Pete Marquez and Edward Madrid.
