POPE, MICHAEL VINCENT Michael went home to be with Jesus on 11/2/12. He was 58 years young. He lived in Belen during the 70's with his family and has lived in Pomona, California the last ten years. He is survived by his mother, Adele (Pope) Coplen of Alb; sisters, Angela D' Ambrosio of Temecula, CA and Emily Hildenbrand of Carol Stream, IL; brother, Anthony Pope of Houston, TX. Locally, he is survived by his sisters Joan Artiaga-Armijo of Belen and Margie (Pope) Rothchild of Alb; brother Pierre Pope of Alb; 11 nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo Michael Pope. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held for Michael on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at New Life Fellowship, 601 Christopher Dr. in Belen. He will be entered in Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen next to his grandfather, Oliver J. Blais.
