REIDY, CANDACE COSTIGAN age 64 died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 5, 2012 in Albuquerque, N. M. Candy had a year long struggle with cancer and prepared bravely for this journey. Candy was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 17, 1948. She was preceded in death by her father John F. Costigan and mother Mary Patricia Meyer Dalton, and brother Jim "Beaner" Dalton. Her sisters are Cathy Costigan Christians and Kelly Costigan Smith, and brother Doug "Skip" Dalton. Candy moved to Albuquerque in 1958 and attended Wilson Junior High School and Highland High School. She was married to the late John Timothy Reidy and had two children; a daughter Pammela Lynn Reidy Wynn and a son Carl Bateman. She had a son Matthew Meyer Medina from her marriage to Charles "Rocky" Medina. She has nine wonderful grandchildren. Candy worked for many years in the real estate and property management business. Her final years were in the home care business aiding the elderly. Candy attended Risen Savior Catholic Church and loved God dearly. Services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Daniels Funeral Chapel, 7601 Wyoming NE (the corner of San Francisco and Wyoming). A reception will follow there also.
