 RUSSELL, ROSEMARY was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Christy Russell and Rose McTighe Russell, she grew up with four younger sisters: Suzanne (Stanley), Rita (Raskob), Sally (Gerwe) and Christie (Lloyd), two of whom (Rita and Sally) predeceased her. Their children, her manifold nieces and nephews, were dear to her always. After graduating from Wellesley College and working for several years in New York, she moved to Albuquerque, studied and traveled on occasion. She was richly talented artistically. She was grateful for her wonderful family and the scores of friends she found, treasured and kept throughout her life, including her baby sculptees, three little sisters in Albuquerque. She was particularly grateful for her nephew Chuck, who was a loyal and selfless assistant for many decades. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at a date yet to be determined.
