 THOMAS, JOHN E. JR. was born in Michigan City, IN on 8/17/47 and passed away surrounded by his loving family on 11/7/12. He was preceded in death by his father, John E. Thomas Sr. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; stepmom Joani Thomas; brother Duane; sisters Toni Monroe and Naomi Bozovsky; daughters Gwen Linson and husband Mathew and Jessica Saunier and husband Lawrence; plus seven grandsons and one granddaughter and many more family members who loved him very much. John grew up in Indiana and loved to fish. He was the member of a band, Kool Breeze and was an amazing musician. John served in the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was known for his generosity and his unconditional love for his family and friends. He taught his grandsons to love music and play the guitar. John will be remembered as a compassionate man with a big heart who put his family above all else. Services will be held on Monday, November 12 at 10:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho 87124.
