TAFOYA, DELLA age 80, of Albuquerque, beloved mother passed away peacefully and comfortable in her home surrounded by the love and care of her family on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Mom lived life to the fullest with her partner Vincent (Honey) Cordova. They enjoyed traveling, fishing, bingo and going to the casino. She worked with children as a foster grandparent for La Luz Elementary which brought her much happiness. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Frank J. Tafoya; grandsons Robert Ruiz, Albert (Gordy) Molinar Jr. Surviving are her daughters, Kathy Ruiz and husband Frank, Agnes Molinar and husband Albert Sr., Flora Santillanes and husband Earl, Judith Montoya and husband Donald; grandchildren, Monica Pena, Joseph Santillanes, Michael Ruiz, Joe Ruiz, Nicole Montoya, Deanna Montoya; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A Rosary service was recited at 6:00pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 3423 Fourth St, NW Alb. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am, Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Joseph Santillanes, Joe Ruiz, Joe Pena, Robert Ruiz, Michael Ruiz, Danny Lucero, Edwin Gonzales and Manuel Antillon.
