 MEDINA, JOYCE F. Age, 36, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 surrounded by her family after a long struggle with a chronic illness for many years. Joyce is survived by husband, Manny, sons, Christopher, Adrian, Matthew and daughter, Olivia Medina; mother, Celeste Tapia; father, Sendalio (Sandy) and wife Bernie Garcia, brother, Eugene and wife Tanya Garcia, sister, Lisa and husband Shane Muth, grandmother, Flora Lucero; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Antonio and Maria Medina; her dearest friend Lori Johnson; and many other family and friends who will miss her. Joyce was preceded in death by her step-father, Lorenzo E Tapia. Joyce was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church. She was passionate about her children's education and their involvement in the arts, including chorus, theater and dance. She was known for her time spent in volunteering at the Manzano Day School Parents Association. Rosary will be recited Monday, November 5, 2012, at 7:00 pm, at Risen Savior Catholic Church, and Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 10:00 am at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE.
