MILLER, ALBERT ALEXANDER Age 84, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther. Albert is survived by his sister, Margaret Khan; children, Maria McNeill and Richard Miller; grandchildren, Amanda and Diana McNeill. Albert was born in New York City on November 19, 1927, to Edward and Ellen Miller. He served in the Army Signal Corps from 1954-1957, and after his service returned to studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn while working as an electronic technician at the Capehart Corporation. After graduation he went to work for Pan American Airlines as an aircraft mechanic and later a maintenance supervisor, and remained at Pan Am until his retirement in 1984. In 1958 Albert married Esther Bonilla, and the following year Esther gave birth to twins Maria and Richard. The family lived in New York City until 1965, when they moved to Hempstead, NY. After retiring the couple moved to Rio Rancho, NM, where they resided until the time of their deaths. Throughout his life Albert had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge across a vast array of subjects, and was always happy to share his explorations of new fields with those around him, especially children. Although he never worked formally as a teacher as his wife Esther did, he will always be remembered as one of the best. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with the Funeral Services following at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE in Rio Rancho, NM.
