 KESSLER, SYLVIA was born on October 29, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York and died peacefully in Albuquerque on June 16, 2012 following a brief illness. She was pre- deceased by her parents, Samuel and Leah Kurland, husband, Herman Kessler and dearest daughter Ruth Kessler. Sylvia was an avid fisherwoman, swimmer, Scrabble player and lover of culture and the arts. We will always remember her devotion to her family and passion for life. Sylvia is survived by her children, David Kessler, Elayne Kessler, Joan Kessler, her grandchildren, Heather Cronin, Megan Cronin, Leah Kessler, Daniel Kessler and her many friends, including her dear friend, Ben Soblick.
