 GILL, EVELYN LEE Was born February 16, 1921 in Cheapside, Texas and died September 5, 2012 in San Antonio. She was the daughter of Claude and Zetta Johnson Lee and the oldest of nine children. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vincent E. Crawford, her second husband, William W. Kirk, and her third husband, Walter F. Gill. She is survived by four step-children, their offspring; twelve nieces and nephews and their children. She had lived in Galveston and San Antonio, Texas, Cleveland, Ohio, and Rio Rancho, New Mexico before returning to San Antonio just three and a half months ago. Along with being a volunteer at St. Joseph's West Mesa Hospital for many years, she had been active in several churches until a few years ago. Evelyn traveled extensively and belonged to a number of bridge clubs. She loved cooking and entertaining her friends and family.
