FISHER, LARRY ALLAN Age 63, was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1948. Our Heavenly Father relieved his earthly burden and removed his pain and suffering on Saturday, September 1, 2012. Larry proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He made his family proud graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Geology and his greatest source of pride were his children. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lenore Bender of Albuquerque; daughter, Marna Larrey Fisher; son, Nathan Brendan Fisher of Albuquerque; sisters, Juanita Jones and Naomi Hood; brothers, Jack Edward Fisher, Grady Fisher, Louis Fisher, Herbert Fisher and Peter Fisher. Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Melba Fisher. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held September 22, 2012 at 8:00 am at La Plata Community Cemetery, La Plata, New Mexico. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Larry championed homeless pets and the Rio Grande Zoological Society.
