JOHN C. "Jack" John C. Scott, age 69 of New Mexico was born 1942 in Keokuk, IA. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by family on September 1, 2012. Jack moved to New Mexico in his childhood and became a long time resident of Albuquerque and Gallup. He served in the United States Navy when he was young and was stationed all over the world. Once he settled down, he was a hard working business owner. He was a dedicated man to his family and always took care of them. He was a great husband and the best Dad and Grandpa anyone could ask for. He was a blessing to us all and will be missed dearly. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Katherine Scott. He is survived by his wife, Erna Scott; his children, Lisa Scott, Michael Scott and wife Shonna, and Kim Gonzales all of Albuquerque; and Cindy Larue of Virginia. He is also survived by three granddaughters, Ashley, Sierra and Paris; three grandsons, Jace, Sean and Kael, and a baby granddaughter on the way; as well as sisters Lynn Litton and husband Bruce of TX, and Jody Holley of Albuquerque; brothers Robert Scott and wife Sue of FL, Dale and wife Kileen of Albuquerque, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held at Calvary Church, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
