NATALIA Age 82, went to her reward in Heaven on August 28, 2012. She courageously fought a disease that ultimately took her life. She was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on July 11, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents Lucia McGrand Fernandez and Angel Fernandez, and her husband Jose C. Baca. She is survived by her seven children, Patricia Baca, J.D. (Danny) Baca, Jenny Porter, Virginia Kruse, Katherine Baca, Michael Baca and Rose Eamon; her grandchildren, Victoria Sedillo, Patrick Sedillo and wife Simone, David and Robert Romero, Donny Kruse, Angela and Christina Baca, Brian and Eric Porter, Marcus and Joseph Baca; her great-grandchildren, Stella and Sophie Sedillo, Zachary, McKenna and Jaxon Romero. She is also survived by her brothers Angel Fernandez and Edward Fernandez and wife Chita. Natalia was a homemaker for most of her life. She was especially proud of her volunteer service at Heights General Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all who love her dearly. She will always be in our hearts and prayers. We will never forget her spirit, strength, humor and courage. Rosary will be held Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Riverside Mortuary, 225 San Mateo N.E. at 7:00 p.m. There will be public visitation from 6 - 7 p.m. Mass will be held Friday, August 31, 2012 at Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix Avenue NE at 10:00 a.m., with entombment at Mount Calvary following the Mass. Pallbearers are J.D. Baca, Patrick and Vicki Sedillo, Stan Sanchez, David Romero and Angel Fernandez. In lieu of flowers, Patricia asks that donations be made in Natalia's name to any Cancer Organization.
