DOROTHY FEIT BALLARD born July 6, 1925, Dorothy died unexpectedly on August 10, 2012. She married A.C. Ballard, deceased, and moved from New York to Albuquerque in 1961. She was "Blue Eyes" to her present loving husband, Charles Niesel. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Ivener, from Albuquerque and husband Brian, daughters Brandy Ivener and Brooke Ivener Lipman and husband Sol, two great-grandchildren Marlon and Moses; daughter Carron Lemchak from Syracuse, New York and husband Joe; daughter Anne Bowers; grandson Jeffrey Bowers, granddaughter Beth Bowers Diamond, her husband Aaron Diamond, great-grandsons Dalton and Michael Bowers and Adam Diamond and great-granddaughters Sarah and Rachel Diamond. She is also survived by her loving sister Lila Wachter; nephews Stuart Wachter and his wife Susan and children; Alan Wachter and his wife Susan and children and niece Eileen Wachter-Mailke and her husband Joe and children. Dorothy was able to attend a family reunion in June and was reunited with her sister after 15 years. Dorothy survived polio and Scoliosis as a child and was also a breast cancer survivor. She was very outgoing, a talented artist, funny sense of humor and loved by many. She had many friends and loved her caregivers Barbara Romero and Francee Taylor. Services are Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, with Rabbi Flicker officiating.
