DELLA Age 96, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 6, 2012. She was born on September 17, 1915 and was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Sofia Gallegos and brother Manuel (Pete) Gallegos, Jr. She is survived by her son Robert and wife Bernadette Garcia; granddaughter Christine and husband Johnny Herrera; grandson Robert Anthony Garcia; great-grandchildren Johnny, Dayna, Jude and Alyssa Herrera; sister-in-law Rita Gallegos; nieces Phyllis and husband Donald Adams, and Elaine Candelaria; nephew Stephen Gallegos; dear friend Helen Montano, and many relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all that were blessed by her touch. We will always remember her favorite saying "Si Dios quiere" (If God wills). A Rosary will be recited for Della on Friday, August 10th at 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 N. Plaza NW, Old Town Albuquerque. Life Celebration Mass will be Saturday, August 11th at San Felipe at 10:00 a.m. with Interment following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
