MICHAEL EUGENE Age 62, passed away on July 19, 2012 in Monte Vista, Colorado. Cause of death was lung cancer and PTSD related to agent orange. Michael was born February 10, 1950 in Prairie City, Oregon to John C. and Jacqualine Tate Whiteman. Michael enjoyed car racing, prospecting, all outdoor activities, gardening and fireworks. He is survived by his son Tate Whiteman of Odessa, Texas; his siblings John Whiteman of Fort Wayne, IN, Pat Gray and Bobby Whiteman, both of Monte Vista, CO. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. in Edgewood, N.M. at the residence of Karen Burrow, 248 East Gonzales Rd, Edgewood, NM 87015. Rogers Family Mortuary of Monte Vista are in care of the arrangements.
