Obituary for FINEGAN

PAUL J. Age 78, born November 9, 1933 in Seattle, WA, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Mr. Finegan is survived by his wife of fifty four and a half years, Ellen; daughter, Carolyn Finegan-Steele and husband, Ralph; son, Charles Finegan; grandson, Sean Finegan and wife, Teresita; granddaughter, Desiree Finegan; and great-grandson, Joey Finegan. Mr. Finegan was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Joy Finegan; sister, Ann; and brother, Michael. Mr. Finegan was born into a military family and lived all over the United States and Japan. He served in the U.S. Army for twenty two years and was decorated with two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts for his service in Vietnam. He was the funeral home manager and funeral director for Kaster, Maxon and Futrell in El Paso, TX for fifteen years until he and his wife moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1998. A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 in the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Finegan will be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with full military honors following the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Charles Finegan, Sean Finegan, Ralph Steele, Don Pace, Arland Blackburn, and James J. Edwards.
