ALICE M. Age 90, a resident of Albuquerque for almost forty years, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012. She is survived by her nieces, Teresa M. Stringer, and Carmel M. Rippberger and husband, Michael; her nephew, James C. Stringer, all of Albuquerque. She also leaves behind her niece, Mary Skinner and husband, Sean; nephew, Jim Roche all of Newfoundland, Canada; and many other loving family members in the United States and Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, CMSgt. Donald J. Jeffries USAF (Ret.); her father, James J. Roche; mother, Julia Roche. She was a member of The Shrine of St. Bernadette for many years. Twenty-eight years ago she was one of the founding members of the Albuquerque support group for Celiac disease. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at French - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque. Mass will be celebrated 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery following the Mass at 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the Rosary.
