WILLIAM PAUL known as "Bill" was born in Denison, Texas on December 2, 1930, transitioned July 3, 2012 in Albuquerque, NM. Loved to tell funny stories and jokes. Especially loved for his wonderful pies and sweets. Known as "Dad" to five children, Julia "Kay" Holden, Gregory Paul Holden, Lisa Lynne Holden, Leigh Anne Holden Zlotopolski and Mark David Holden. Also survived by nine grandchildren; and mother of his children, Julia Gregory Ryan. Bill was proud to be a US Air Force Korean War Veteran, University of Texas alumni and to be part of the exploration of space as an aerospace engineer for NASA. Married to Betty Milstead Holden of Placitas, NM and a member of Las Placitas Presbyterian Church. Now his friends and his fellow church members will have to look above for assistance to finish their crossword puzzles. Memorial Service will be held at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church Hwy 165, Placitas, NM. on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10:00am. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. ABQ.
