Obituary for BUSH

WALTER G. Passed away June 13, 2012. Born October 17, 1917 to Ella D. Bush and Harold B. Bush in Los Angeles, California. Walter entered the Army at 17 years old as a private and honorably retired in 1942 as a Captain. He married Maude Sieglitz in 1940 and had two boys, Harold Bush and Frank Bush. After the Army, he retired from service from the Atomic Energy Commission in Los Alamos and Albuquerque. He was a Boy Scout Leader with the Philmont Scout Ranch. He traveled and trained teens in the Los Alamos Junior Sheriff's Posse, teaching them to square dance on horseback and performing at rodeos around the state. In Albuquerque, he had a dog training school, training obedience and tracking, and becoming an American Kennel Club Tracking Judge. He has resided in the San Juan area for the past 25 years. He left the Earth and it's people a little better than he found them. You will be with us long as we need you.
