M. KATHLEEN "KATHY" Age 75, died quietly at her Albuquerque home on Sunday May 20, 2012. She is survived by her daughter Bernadine; son-in-law Richard; and many loving friends. Kathy was a Registered Nurse for many years specializing in ICU and CCU. She later became a paralegal and worked at the interface of medicine and law. Many of her friends knew Kathy through her service as Alternate Coordinator of Central Office of Albuquerque. Kathy had many interests. Gardening and cooking were high on her list, and she was extremely generous in sharing the fruits of her labors. Bird watching, a passion for the natural world, and her adventurous spirit drew her to beautiful places whenever opportunities were presented. A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102 on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
