BETTY JO Of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012, at the age of 80. She was surrounded by her family. Betty Jo was a native of Dayton, OH. She moved to Albuquerque in 1964. She was a long-time member of the choir at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and spent much of her time at Bear Canyon Senior Center. She loved classical music and bird watching as well as traveling and spending time with her many close friends and family. She was a woman of strong faith and a loving mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Dennis. Betty Jo is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Dorr and husband, Michael of Colorado Springs, CO and her son, Paul Dennis and wife Christine of Albuquerque, NM. She also leaves three brothers, John, Jimmy, and Joe Harrison; and five beautiful grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. There will be a private interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 10:00am with a Rosary immediately before at 9:30am.
