SOPHIA LEE "LISA" Sophia Lee Moran-Padilla, age 53 left our world on Thursday, May 17 after courageously battling cancer for seven years. She now peacefully joins her parents Joe and Connie Fernandez in heaven. Sophia is survived by her angelic husband, Thane Padilla along with her in-laws, father, Nino and step-mom, Nancy Padilla, and mother-in-law, Bettie Coen, four sisters and their spouses, Evelyn Fernandez, Monica and Manuel Ortiz, Angela and Richard Diedrich, Kassandra and Jared Ray, her brother Mario and his wife Linda and her brother-in-law and wife Rio and Michelle Padilla as well as step-sisters, Eurainya Thornton and Tiffany St. Peter, and beloved Nina Virgie. She has lovingly touched the lives of her thirty plus nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who "Auntie Lisa Lee" continues to live through. "Auntie Lisa Lee" will always be remembered for her legacy of photography, artwork, clowns, exotic travel and adventures and her many, many adoring friends. Sophia's memorial service will be held on Friday, May 25th, 4:00pm, at the First Unitarian Church on Carlisle and Comanche.
