GWENDEAN 1925 ~ 2012 Longtime resident of Albuquerque, most recently of Utah, passed away surrounded by her family on May 2, 2012, due to a stroke. After high school, Gwen moved to Albuquerque from her home town of Manassa, Colorado, where she later met and married Kenneth Tarter. A homemaker by choice, Gwen later became a medical transcriber and continued to transcribe until she was 84. Her family brought her great joy. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Orlan) Macdonald, Karolyn (Robin) Kartchner, and Coleen Fossie, all of Utah; 12 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Jesse F. and Leonora C. Rogers; siblings, Edgar, Cleo, Jesse and Conn; and one granddaughter. Interment will be May 10, 2012 at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
