WINSTON FAYETTE Our loving son and the "Light of Our Lives" returned home to our Heavenly Father at the age of 21on Monday, April 23, 2012. He was born on January 24, 1991 to Winston Fayette and Constance Joan Perrigo Dorian. From the moment Winston was born at Camp Pendleton, CA, his parents knew that he was very special. People were drawn to Winston because of his love of life and his ability to encourage others to be their best. He was a leader, mentor and friend. He loved the outdoors, skiing, shooting, longboarding, music and gaming. Winston was a four-year state champion in the JROTC Air Rifle competition. He proudly represented his high school, La Cueva, and was instrumental in leading La Cuevas Rifle Team to four consecutive state championships. He was chosen to be the Commanding Officer of the JROTC his senior year. His peers recognized him as an outstanding leader. He graduated from La Cueva in 2009. He was awarded a full ride 4 year Navy ROTC scholarship to the Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. At the Citadel, Winston was instrumental in leading the Citadel Rifle Team to win the Southern Conference Title for the 1st time in 10 years. He earned a rifle team varsity letter both his freshman and sophomore years and was a Navy Midshipman. His peers at The Citadel said, "Lost a Brother, Gained An Angel." Dub loved the Lord with all his heart and was a shining example of how the Lord aspires us to live. As a family, we will honor his memory by establishing the Winston F.
