GEORGE Was born February 8, 1924 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the age of 88. George proudly and honorably served in the US Army, in the Pacific Theater during WWII, and as a Paratrooper with the 503rd. He worked as a window glazier. George is survived by his sons, Raymond and Michael Montoya; by his daughter, Melanie Torres; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. The burial service will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 9:00 am, with US Army Honors.
