ELOY PEDRO FRANCISCO Was born October 2, 1931 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. He passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Albuquerque. Eloy honorably and proudly served his country in the US Army and in the US Navy. He graduated from the University of New Mexico and prior to becoming disabled, he thoroughly enjoyed his 23 years of work as a Vocational Counselor with the Department of Labor, assisting others in obtaining employment. Eloy enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. His varied interests included collecting assorted things he treasured. Eloy was preceded in death by his parents, Luisa and Frank Campos and by his brothers, Luis, Eloy and Frank. He is survived by his two sisters, Mary Eva Rhoads of Rio Rancho and "Sally" Luisa Ostby of Mountlake Terrace, WA; four nieces, Camilla, Angela, Rhonda and Dorothy; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. The family would like to personally thank Ray Gurule who saved Eloy's life and was there for him on numerous occasions. Visitation and Services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE. on Friday, April 27, 2012. The visitation will begin at 11:00 am. The Rosary will be recited at 11:30 am and the Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 noon.
