JOSE ANTONIO "TONY" (RET.) March 13, 1945 - April 9, 2012 Passed away at his home in Cedar Grove, NM after a year long battle with cancer with his wife and step son by his side. He was born in Santa Rosa, NM. Tony graduated from Santa Rosa High School and soon after enlisted in the Air Force and served his country during the Viet Nam War. After coming home from Viet Nam he continued serving his country in the New Mexico Army National Guard as a commissioned officer. His is survived by his wife of 17 years, Shirley Sisneros; daughters, Antoinette, Melanie and Francesca Sisneros; step children, Michael, Susan, Eric and Dawn; grandchildren, Jared Sisneros, Mikayla and Trent Thomas, William, Mason and Eden Bradley; brothers, Joe M. Sisneros, Severiano Sisneros and Thomas Sisneros; sisters, Vera S. Sanchez, Zenaida Bridges, and Hope Sisneros. He was a Superintendent at Universal Construction. He and his wife opened US United Insurance Group in 2002. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, TLBNM, Civitan Association, member of Edgewood Chamber of Commerce. He was also a Bob Ross certified instructor. Rosary will be on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Edgewood, NM. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Edgewood, NM. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
