JOHNNIE Born to Aurelia and Juan Archibeque, September 10, 1922, Johnnie peacefully passed away on April 11, 2012. He is survived by his children, Melba Griego of Algodones, Sandra Gutierrez and husband Roger of Silver City, Johnny Archibeque and wife Esther of Bernalillo, Theresa Lucero of Bernalillo and Frank Archibeque of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all those that loved him and called him "grandpa". Johnnie was a great conversationalist and loved being around people - many with whom he established life-long relationships. He especially loved being around his family who will deeply miss him and cherish his memory forever. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are Richard Torres, Stephen Barreras, Roger Gutierrez, Michael Lucero, Matthew Lucero and Ignacio Lopez. Honorary pallbearers are all of his friends from the Sandoval County Historical Society, NEA-NM, AARP and the Sandoval County Election Bureau.
