ARMANDO J. "DOC" 92, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 71 and one half years, Lois M. Giannini; children, Carol Ann Giannini, Armand J. Giannini Sr. and wife, Anna Marie, Bob Giannini and wife, Sally, and Arlene M. Giannini and husband, Tony Lutonsky all of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren Heather, Erin, Armand II, Michael, Lisa, Allegra, George, Nick, Gina, Ryan, Jocelyn, Peter, Victor and Adrienne; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Throughout his life, Armando was involved in various businesses in the community as well as years of serving in both local and state governments. In all aspects of his life, his dedication to helping others was his primary goal. A special thanks to all of his friends and neighbors who helped our family get through this difficult time. A rosary will be recited, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW, Albuquerque. A mass will be celebrated on, Wednesday, April 11, 2012, 10:45 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or the Building Fund at Immaculate Conception Parish, 619 Copper NE, 87102.
