Obituary for MORRIS

KAREN A long-time resident of Albuquerque passed on peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 31, 2012. She was born in Xenia, Ohio on August 21, 1942. She is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Michael Bieniewski and wife, Stephanie; daughter, Cathy Lynch and husband, Patrick; grandchildren, Isaiah Bieniewski, Tiana Lynch, Tyler Lynch and Tara Lynch; stepsons, David Morris and Larry Morris and wife, Tricia; and step-grandsons, Powell, Justus and Marcus Morris. She was a graduate of St. Johns College in Santa Fe and a certified respiratory therapist. She was an avid bridge player and golfer who cherished the camaraderie of her bridge and golf buddies. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who had a real concern for the well-being of others. During her life and in her courageous fight with cancer, she touched the lives of many. Karen was a member of Christ the King Anglican Church and the Swayden Bible Study Class at Hoffmantown Church. She was a very spiritual person with a deep and abiding faith in Christ which she was always willing to share with others. Karen, with her bubbly personality and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by those who knew her, but she leaves many fond memories and we know for sure she is in a better place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at French - Lomas Chapel. Private interment will take place later at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity. The family wishes to thank Karen's many friends for their thoughts, prayers and support.
