DORIS VAN BUSKIRK 1916-2012 Mrs. Hepple passed away Monday, February 27, 2012 in Mescalero, NM. She was born in New York City and grew up in Manhattan, and Brooklyn. She and her husband Wilson Hepple (Bill) moved out west in 1948. She loved to read, bird watch, cook and work with children. She worked at the Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque and the Nob Hill Center in Ruidoso, NM. She and Will moved to Las Cruces, NM and ran a successful business. Upon his death she moved to Ruidoso, NM to be near her daughter and grandchildren. She married Wilson S. Hepple in 1940 in New Jersey and he preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by a daughter Ellie Weinreich of Alto, NM; son Jeffry Hepple of McGregor TX; a brother, Edward VanBuskirk of Debary, FL; eight grandchildren, Greg Sharp, Rebekah Stephens, Casey Weinreich, Shana Weinreich Martinez, Lisa Martinez, Scott Hepple, Wendy Hepple and Matthew Hepple; ten great-grand-children; two great-great-grandchildren. Service will be at the Santa Fe Military Cemetery on Good Friday at 3:00pm.
