PATRICIA (NEE SHEA) was born April 23, 1948, and passed away March 26, 2012, after a long illness. Pat was awarded a BUS and a MA in Philosophy from UNM, and spent over 30 years working in the UNM libraries before her retirement. She loved art and music, and painted in oil and watercolor. She was brilliant, compassionate, and devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Michael; her brother, Fr. Michael Shea; her mother, Mary Shea; and her beloved pets who comforted and cheered her during her illness. Plans for a memorial service will be announced later this month. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Animal Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
