ERNEST FRED Age 84, beloved partner, father, brother, grandfather and uncle, passed away surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by Esther, Michelle, Mark, Kevin and Dolores; sisters Rosemary (Emmett), Lee and Leola; his grandchildren who loved him dearly; numerous nieces and nephews. He was a survivor of Iwo Jima, a member of the Ponderosa Volunteer Fire Department, a lifetime member of the Sandoval County Sheriff's Posse and a member of the Jemez Valley Senior Center Advisory Council. If he knew your birthday you were sure to get a call from him. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 30 at 11:00 AM at our Lady of Guadalupe in Canon, New Mexico followed by a reception at the Jemez Valley Community Center. Interment will follow at a later date at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
