RAYMOND Age 54, passed away on February 23, 2012 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Adelaido and Nora Martinez. He is survived by his wife Laura; son Brian; daughter Amanda and fiance Sam; son Matthew and wife Melissa; daughter Jessica; step-daughter Crystal and husband Kevin Jefferies and step-daughter Amy Curry. Raymond was blessed with four grandchildren Jaxon Martinez, Lauren, Kaelyn and Cole Jefferies. He had one sister Cindy and husband Dan Jaramillo and one nephew Kenny Jaramillo. Raymond was born and raised in Santa Fe. He graduated from Santa Fe High School and immediately started a career in the grocery business working at Safeway, Furrs and Albertsons. Ray was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed playing golf. Raymond will always be known for his quiet wit and admirable work ethic. He loved his children without holding back and truly found his soul mate in Laura. He will truly be missed and always loved. Raymond also had many aunts, uncles and friends who he leaves behind. Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, on Friday, March 2nd. The Rosary will be recited at 8:15 a.m. with Mass to follow at 9:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
