EFREN D. JR. Age 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Cora Rodriguez; children, Marlene Brockmann and husband, John, Gerald Rodriguez all of Albuquerque; Shante Roxanne Rodriguez and husband, Daniel Hardy of Santa Fe; April Nicole Rodriguez of Albuquerque; adoring grandchildren; Dominique D. Leyva and wife, Luisa, of Huesca, Spain, Jose L. Leyva of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Alicia S. Leyva, Joaquin Leyva, Ana Luna Leyva all of Huesca, Spain, Isabella Leyva of Albuquerque, Azarian Daniel Hardy of Santa Fe, Cameryn Nicole Rodriguez-Lawson of Albuquerque, Nakoa Caius Hardy of Santa Fe all of whom he loved dearly; brothers, Orlando Rodriguez, Willie Rodriguez and wife, Bessie all of Albuquerque; sister, Esther Chavez of Belen; brother, Charlie Rodriguez and wife, Fannie of Rio Rancho; sister, Mary Garcia of Albuquerque, and a large, extended family. Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alicia A. Ruybal. Efren was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Cremation has taken place and a rosary will be recited, Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW, with George Lucero and George Jaramillo reciting. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 24, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, with Father Vincent P. Chavez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1800 Edith Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Ventura Ruybal, Daniel Hardy, Jose Leyva, and Jason Kinzy. A reception will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall, 1860 Griegos Rd.
